Equestrian First Aid

SJG Training’s Equestrian First Aid training is tailored to the types of injuries likely to be encountered working around horses, delivered in a way that fits with the busy routine of a working stables, by health care professionals that deal with these injuries on a daily basis.

Our courses are targeted, specific and relevant if you ride or handle horses. delivered in a relaxed, realistic and enjoyable way at your riding establishment,  so that riders get the most from their learning experience.

Scope: This course covers the basics of First Aid for injuries associated with equestrian-related activities.

  • Roll/Crush Injuries
  • Strike Injuries (obstacles, etc.)

  • Rider Whiplash
  • Rider Dehydration

  • Sprains/Strains/Dislocations
  • Cuts/Lacerations
  • Concussions/Minor Head Injuries
